Partnering with Mission Trip to Deliver 650 Bear Hugs
Community Worship Center and Blankets & Bears partnered up to help deliver over 650 bears or stuffed animals for the Perryton church's mission trip this summer. They will be delivering these bears to children in a christian school who have never received a birthday present before, to a children's cancer hospital and to two different orphanages in Nicaragua. Thanks to everyone who has donated a gently used bear to help make this possible! The couple helping to manage this mission trip is leaving their ministry at the church in Perryton just two weeks after they get back from Nicaragua to do mission work in the Philippines to find out more about then check out their blog at http://www.silveyblog.com/p/support.html

Shipment & Delivery
I am waiting on pictures, we shipped little receiving blankets and tiny new bears to a pregnancy crisis center in Romania a few months ago...as soon as I get those in I will post.
But just on Labor Day weekend we had the privilege of meeting up with a group of churches in Laredo, TX and hand delivered 42 teddy bears to boys and girls at a children's home there. It was a very humbling experience, we went to give love to give the tangible love of Jesus to kids through the form of our teddy bears but what God had planned on the trip was for us to receive love. We met up with four churches from Lousiana and brother Price Harris and all they could do was encourage us in our ministry and pray for us and lift us up with their love towards us...and of course the children's home was like heaven with trees planted all along the drive up to the doors set on a beautiful large property and with warm sisters in christ tending to the children. It was beautiful and each child came up to us shook our hands and said they were pleased to meet us..then we grabbed them and hugged them.
